People in China Are Still Eating Bats Despite Global Coronavirus Pandemic

You'd think the People's Republic of China would have learned a lesson from this pandemic, but you'd be wrong.

George Knowles reports the Wuhan wet markets are still open & there's no shortage of bats, lizards, cats, and snakes if you're hungry:

  • Cats, dogs and other domesticated and wild animals freely available to buy
  • One sources says that: 'the markets have gone back to operating in exactly the same way as they did before coronavirus' despite the outbreaks links to bats
  • Wild animals still for sale as food and traditional medicine in Chinese markets
  • Coronavirus symptoms: what are they and should you see a doctor?

After all the economic collapse, travel restrictions, death, and an international health crisis that most experts agree was caused by people eating weird food in Wuhan, the locals haven't changed their diets even a little bit.

Wow. Just wow.
