Things got pretty exciting out at Cypress Lakes Golf Club last Tuesday morning as golfers witnessed a police chase involving a Range Rover. According to ABC 13, Harris County Constables had attempted a traffic stop but the suspects refused to comply and the resulting pursuit led them through the Cypress Lakes course.
Golfer Phillip Morgan captured some of the action on video. His footage is included in the news reports below.
The two men in the Range Rover, Grey Martinez and Trevor Passmore, stopped and fled the scene on foot, one of them reportedly dropping an AK-47 as he left the vehicle. Both were eventually apprehended with the help of a Constable Canine. Martinez is said to have spit on one of the arresting officers while being taken into custody.
