FORT BEND COUNTY, TX (October 3, 2023) - Fort Bend County Precinct 3 Commissioner Andy Meyers will host three public information meetings over the next three weeks to inform residents and take questions about the County's proposed $712 million mobility bond and the $153 million parks bond.
Members of the Fort Bend County Engineering Department, Parks and Recreation Department, and Auditor's Office will also be on hand to answer questions from the public.
"Transparency and knowledge are essential when residents cast their ballots on November 7, 2023," Commissioner Meyers said. "We encourage County residents to join us at one of the three informational meetings so they can be better informed when casting their vote on these two propositions."
Public meetings are scheduled for the next three Thursday nights at the following locations:
- Thursday, October 5 at 7 p.m. at the Sugar Land Branch Library, 550 Eldridge Road, Sugar Land, TX 77478
- Thursday, October 12 at 6 p.m. at the First Colony Library, 2121 Austin Parkway, Sugar Land, TX 77479
- Thursday, October 19 at 6 p.m. at the 5th Street Community Center, 3110 5th Street, Stafford, TX 77477
