Is There A Reason As To Why The Astros Build Prospects Only To Let Them Go?

As we inch closer to the New Year and the start of the season appearing closer than it seems, the Astros have taken some time in trying to rebuild their roster and replace a few players that have been traded by the organization. Regarding Kyle Tucker's departure, the Astros have aimed to revamp the team although, the organization tends to take a bit longer than expected in regards to getting deals done, signed, and closed. Still looking to get Bregman's deal done, there hasn't been much talk amongst the topic of rather he'll return or not but the Astros still hold out for the best. Interesting talk around the specific reason as to why won't he return has arrived, as many have begun to note around the time of resigning's and extensions come into play the Astros tend to let their prospects walk. Seeing how this has been working for the organization in the past years many still raise question as to why the Astros build up great prospects but never really bring them back to furlong and sustain their dominance in the postseason. Is there a method to this madness or are the Astros managing these prospects the best they know how?
