Last week Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner said he would punish any firefighter who insults him.
Over 300 firefighters just potentially lost their jobs as a result of the Prop B vote and our city's leadership decided to declare war on first-responders.
This was a pretty bold stance for the mayor of a post Hurricane Harvey community.
While the firefighters may have little recourse to stop Turner from disciplining them, I don't; so in an effort to protest Turner I ventured down to City Hall today with a megaphone and a firefighters helmet to publicly mock Mayor Turner in front of hundreds of people.
