Texans set for Lock, Broncos on Sunday

The Houston Texans are flying high after beating the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football. Now they have to put that game in the rear view mirror and get back to work.

The Texans have won two in a row, and with an 8-4 record, lead the AFC South by a game over Tennessee. That means nothing to the Denver Broncos, who are 4-8 and looking to play the role of spoiler in Vic Fangio's first season as head coach.

The Broncos are here for a date with the Texans on Sunday. Bill O'Brien's team has heard praise from the national and local media all week for the 28-22 win over New England. O'Brien was asked if he has any concerns about a letdown on Sunday

"No," O'Brien stated. "These guys are pros."

The Broncos will be starting their rookie quarterback, Drew Lock, on Sunday. He made his first start last weekend against the Chargers in a 23-20. O'Brien says Lock isn't your average rookie.

"He knows he can do it. The key for him is to do it again and be consistent. I'm sure that's what he's trying to do," O'Brien explained.

Kickoff is at Noon on Sunday.
