Whataburger Scholarship Program

What do college students love more than Whataburger? Help paying for their tuition.

Whataburger is rolling out a program to provide financial help to students planning to attend college or a university.

This week the burger chain announced the launch of the Whataburger Feeding Student Success Scholarship program, available to students applying at colleges, universities, and non-profit vocational schools.

The company is committing $500,000 to the program, which will award $5,000 scholarships to 100 young scholars, starting with the 2022-23 school year.

The first year of scholarships will be awarded to Black students and applicants from other racial minority groups as part of the George Floyd racial equity commitment announced last summer.

Scholarships can be used for tuition, books, fees supplies and housing.

Students can apply for a scholarship now through February 28th.
