A Harris County man makes a court appearance Friday morning after his arrest for practicing medicine without a license. He was doing plastic surgery on patients.
Police arrested 53-year-old Alexander Padilla on Wednesday at Houston Aesthetic Center on the Katy Freeway near the West Belt and was released on $10,000 bond.
Padilla was listed as a doctor at the plastic surgery clinic.
Police began investigating Padilla after the Texas Medical Board stated that he doesn't have a license to practice medicine in the state.
At least four patients have come forward to provide details of surgery he performed.
