Carnival Cruise report two people who had just debarked Carnival Dream were hit by a driver who accelerated when they meant to reverse were hospitalized at UTMB Saturday.

The driver ran through a gate accidentally. Carnival said the driver accelerated when they meant to reverse.
Carnival says all six family members are expected to return home today.
The Carnival Cruise company and its care team supported the family, including making hotel arrangements.
