‘Tis the season… for viruses

Ah chooo.

It's that time of year again. Not just for family gatherings and holiday lights, but fighting off viruses.

It's cold and flu season. And then the new bug added to the fall mix.

COVID-19 rates were going down, but after Thanksgiving, they're going up again. Big family meals and lots of people traveling on planes are causing more infections.

There's also a new version of the virus called HV.1, and it spreads more easily. At first, it might just feel like a regular cold. But be careful-things can change.

But it's the same drill. Keep your distance and wash your hands frequently for your protection and to help others if you come down with something.
