A 33-year-old man from the Netherlands will be spending the next few months in jail after stalking and harassing his ex-girlfriend. The man, who was not identified, appeared in court, where prosecutors said that he had himself delivered in a box to his ex-girlfriend's home.

The woman claimed that once inside, he came out of the box, threatened her with a gun, and stole her keys. The man denied having a gun, and investigators did not locate one when they searched his house. He did admit to having the keys but claimed she gave them to him voluntarily.

After the incident, the woman installed a security camera, which captured the man returning to her house several times. He claimed he had permission, which she denied.

"I didn't know how else to get in to get my stuff," the suspect told the judge, according to the Leeuwarder Courant.

After hearing the case, the judge found the man guilty of stalking and sentenced him to four months in prison. He also barred the man from contacting the woman for three years.
