If there's one thing Senate Democrats agree on, it's that murdering recently born babies should not be a crime.
On Monday Senate Democrats blocked a Republican bill that would have threatened prison time for doctors who don't try saving the life of infants born alive during failed abortions.
It's pretty obvious Democrats are embracing "infanticide" to appeal to far-left voters.
If you've ever needed proof Democrats care more about tribalism than principles, look no further than the Born Alive Act. They overwhelmingly voted against it; even the moderates.
All the flavor-of-the-month Democratic 2020 presidential hopefuls voted against the measure, including Bernie "Three Houses" Sanders, Kamala "I inhalled" Harris, Cory "Spartacus" Booker, Kirsten "Ranch Dressing" Gillibrand, Amy "Salad Comb" Klobuchar and Elizabeth "DNA Test" Warren. Everyone of these candidates is embracing far-leftism with this vote.
The final vote was 53-44 to end Democratic delaying tactics -- seven votes short of the 60 needed.
Folks, this shouldn't be a partisan issue. We're talking about protecting babies who have already been born. 82% of all Americans (even those who are pro-choice) oppose killing a child after they're born. This isn't a 'far right' stand point. It's just the right thing to do.
The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act would have required "any health care practitioner present" at the time of birth to "exercise the same degree of professional skill, care, and diligence to preserve the life and health of the child as a reasonably diligent and conscientious health care practitioner would render to any other child born alive at the same gestational age."
Wow! What an extreme stance - don't murder a baby after it's already been born.
The bill would have exempted the mother involved in the birth from prosecution and also would have required practitioners to "ensure that the child born alive is immediately transported and admitted to a hospital."
If you believe in protecting the must vulnerable of human life in this country, the Democrat party is not your friend.
