At any given point on any given day, 21st century progressives will do their best to out Chicken Little each other.
Take socialist Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vt), for example.
If President Donald Trump "gets his way" on healthcare by repealing the Affordable Care Act, earlier this week Sen. Bernie Sanders said, "thousands of people will literally die."
The number is actually much higher than "thousands".
The truth is, if Trump nullifies Obamacare, billions of people will die.
Of course, billions of people will die if Obamacare remains the law of the land too.
Either way, keep the law or get rid of it, billions of people die. You see, the average life expectancy for most American humans is about 78.6 years. Everyone will die.
Even still, Bernie is clearly being hyperbolic. He wants to invoke fear and desperation into the hearts of voters. He'd prefer you all think you're dependent on the government for access to healthcare.
But you're not.
And what Bernie's talking about isn't even healthcare, it's health insurance.
There's a difference.
But do socialists know the difference between healthcare and health insurance?
It certainly doesn't seem like it.
