Whenever there's a national crisis Democrats just love to use the incident as a reason to slam Christians who call for, "Thoughts and prayers."
Unfortunately Houston's Police Chief, Art Acevedo, is a lot like most Democrats.
In a video recently posted to this Twitter account, Acevedo says we don't need "Prayers", we need action.
His version of "action" is a call for universal background checks.
He's suggesting that expanding gun control efforts would have prevented the mass shooting that occurred in Santae Fe, Texas last May (2018).
However, there's no proof that expanded background checks or increased gun control efforts would have done anything to stop that shooting from taking place. This is just an effort to push Democrat policies in the wake of a tragedy.
To suggest Acevedo is being tacky would be a bit of an understatement.
