He was a rapper in the 80s and 90s. No, not Tone, Toni, Tone. Tone Loc. He sang Funky Cold Medina. No, not Toni Braxton. He also sang Wild Thing. Remember now? Okay.
Anyway, rapper Tone Loc ended up in handcuffs at a Texas airport after he confronted a family because their son was wearing a Confederate flag hat.
A new video filmed by a witness who wishes to remain anonymous shows rapper Tone Loc getting into a heated exchange at Midland International Air & Space Port before being handcuffed by security.
In the video, the rapper exchanges shouts and swears between a man and woman repeatedly saying "F--- your Confederate s---."
The witness said this all started when Tone Loc got upset by at an underage boy for wearing a hat with a Confederate flag on it and confronted him.
The video shows him getting into a verbal confrontation with a man and woman the witness said are the boy's parents who defended their son saying he can wear whatever he wants.
Security agents arrived soon after and handcuffed Tone Loc. A spokesperson for the City
of Midland said the rapper was detained, but not arrested.
So he wasn't arrested. Everyone decided to let it go.
