Not since March has Louisiana seen this low a number of COVID 19 patients in their hospitals.
In a sign that things are slowly returning to normal (whatever that means), Louisiana hospitals now have less than 1000 COVID 19 patients.
Louisiana health officials today report the number of people hospitalized with coronavirus in the state fell to 931.
That's a drop of 73 patients and the first time since March the number was less than 1,000.
Meanwhile the number of cases in the state increased by 278 with 27 more deaths that were reported Tuesday.
That brings the total case count to 35,316 with 2,485 COVID-19 deaths in Louisiana.
